Changing colors

So I had to change the background of my blog because I'm really needing something bright and colorful. I am so ready for spring to be here and for the brown ugliness to leave and the tress to be nice and green and pretty again. Although spring time brings tornado season so that part I am not looking forward to. So hopefully this will help my mood be bright and cheery!!!
I am so excited I received the information for Time Out for Women this year and I was so excited about it that I was telling TJ and he said that if you want to go you can!!!! YEAH I'm so excited and there are women in our branch that want to go so we are trying to find 5 women to go so we can get the group discount!!! So if everything works out April 18-19 I will be in Oklahoma City enjoying Time Out for Women!!!! So I'll keep you all updated as time gets closer.

Our new furniture

I am so happy to finally have our new furniture!!! It feels so good and is so comfy, and to have a rocking chair that doesn't squeak or feel like its going to fall apart any second. It feels good to have matching funiture now my next goal is to get some nice bedroom funiture. So we have 2 sofa's an ottman w/storage and a rocking chair .

Never leave your child unattended

Oh ya that was a big mistake. Apparently there was a bag of flour that was left in Tanners reach (or he some how climbed up to get it) and deceided that it was a great thing to play with. It wasn't till I noticed that it was WAY to quiet that I knew something was up. So I walked in to the kitchen and this is what I found my little boy doing.

Oh what have we gotten ourselves into

Well I would like to introduce the 2 newest members of our family. Corkey and Bob ( I know I know TJ named him). After we went on vacation last Easter our other dogs deceided to take a vacation of their own and never returned. So TJ received a call yesterday durning church and thought it might have something to do with work as it was a coworker so he took the call and his friend who runs a kennel had 2 chihuahua's one 6 months old and the other 6-8 weeks old, both male and both have very different attitudes. So TJ said that he would talk to me and told me that he had the 2 dogs if we wanted to see them, well i guess it wasn't much presure as we left with both dogs because they were already together and I didn't want to split them up and also if we had only taken one the other would have been put down and I just didn't want to think about that. Its nice because they are both small and won't get much bigger then they already are so with out futher ado here they are.

OH my

I just received the saddest news. My mom and stepdad had to put there dog down today because he was just to sick. I have some of the best memories of there Buddy-dog while they were living with us and he was super sweet to the kids and would let Tanner pretty much do anything to him (with in reason) and he would just love the attention. I am going to miss him. once blogger will let me add photos i'll put up some of our buddy dog

Happy Valentines day!!!

I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Valentines day and I hope that everyone enjoys this wonderful day full of love!!! We don't have anything special planned except take the kids to the library since we didn't make it last week because we were all sick (yuck). So we are all better now and I need to get out of the house, plus I need to get the next two books in the series I am reading. I am going to take the kids to wally world after the library so we can get something for TJ. So it should be a nice day and I am hoping that our funiture comes in as we have been waiting and waiting for it. If so I know exactly what we will be doing this weekend!! And then i'll have a great post with pictures to show all. Its the first time we have had new funiture that is a matching set!!! So excited. Anyways Happy Valentines Day everyone!!

Happy Anniversary!!

I can't believe that we have been married 6 years. The time has just flown by and 2 kids later I wouldn't change a thing. I can't believe how much we have grown as a couple and as parents, I love TJ with all my heart and i'm so glad that he chose me to be his wife to spend time and all eternity with because I coudn't think of a better person for me. I love you TJ and can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together.

We survived the TORNADO

yes we were one of those that received tornado's last night. It bounced around our town and actually hit about 2 blocks away and the bounced back up and then touched down and made its way east to Arkansas. We didn't receive any damage except loosing power for a few hours while they fixed the power line that went down due to the tree that fell on it (2 blocks away). I just thank heveanly father that we are safe and nothing serious happend to us.

With the tornado bouncing it hit this place called Bunches. I over heard the owner telling another customer this morning that they saw it coming and she was yelling to the people inside to move away from the windows and I guess at one point one person went outside for who knows what reason and they were unable to open the door because of the pressure. I'm not sure what happened in the end but the person is ok. This is all that happened to this place it ripped of the top and none of the windows broke!!

Such a big girl

Lately Makena has been wanting to hold Tanner after he has gone to sleep, So one night she kept asking and asking so we let hold him before putting him in bed. For some reason he looks so much bigger when they are next to each other. She is such a great big sister and LOVES her little brother even though lately they have been fighting because he always wants what she has so on and so on. LOL

One night she had a pretty sweet setup with her toys, She had set up a moviestore, sleeping arrangements the whole works. She even asked me to take a picture for her!!

She had used the mini m&M container as people in her movie store.

Hide and Seek

TJ, the kids and I played hide and seek the other day and had a blast!! I'm not sure exactly how the game started but it was so much fun and the kids loved it. To bad Makena has a hard time staying quiet while hiding so its super easy to find her but of course being parents who love her we took our time "searching" for her. We took turns hiding with each kid and then took our turns finding them. Here are a few pictures that I got durning the game.

After we were done Makena some how got a hold of Tanner and locked him with her legs, it was so funny to see him try and get himself out. At least he didn't mind to much.

Updeate on the addition to our branch building!

They are moving along quite well and i'm happy to see that there is a roof being added now. They ahve taken all the windows out that were at one point the side of the bulding, and it is werid to walk in to those class rooms now and haivn it be darker, like the nursary leader said its like a cave.

(Kyle and Karen, we really miss you and hope that all is well in New Mexico!! Hopefully one day you will come back for a visit!! Our home is always open for you to stay!)

Computer problems

Our laptop is have major issues, and we are waiting for the box to send it in to be repaired, so that is why I havnt blogged lately. Hopefully it won't last much longer and i'll be back to blogging in no time. I just wish things would work like they are suppose to and make my life easier, but in this world most things are that easy lol. So untill we get it sent in which should be in the next day or so i'll just be looking at email and a few blogs, and hope that it only takes about a week to get fixed.
