We are here!!!!

We have finally made it, well have been here for about 2 weeks and I am now just finally updating our blog, Ya I know no excuses LOL. Anyways we had quite the drive here thank goodness we had TJ's mom with us to help drive or I don't think we would have made it as fast as we did. The drive was LONG and boring but we made it from OK to PA in 2 1/2 days with only a few minor incidents. The car carrier had a few problems but nothing that TJ couldn't fix and at one pit stop he accidental locked the keys in the moving truck so we had a little bit of a wait while we waited for a locksmith to come and unlock the door. At least we were able to give the kids a break and eat a push-up and get some energy out before we got back on the road.

I wish I would have taken pictures along the road but I was so busy driving or sleeping that I didn't. The kids bounced back and forth between the van and the moving truck but mostly they road in the truck because it was so cool being with dad and sitting up so high they could see everything.

We made it to our new home in Annville, PA Wednesday (we left monday night) and got the Tahoe unloaded and backed the truck up to the townhouse and started to unload a few things, I decided to vacuum the house because it looked like it hadn't been done and by the time I was finished we had about 10-15 people helping unload all our stuff. I was shocked to see the turnout from our new ward here to help us. It was fantastic and honestly TJ didn't do much of the unloading as we had to move the washer and dryer that were in the house down to the basement so with doing that everyone else helped unload. So we get it all put in and away from the walls as they were still going to paint and headed up to the grandparents house to take TJ's mom home and spend the rest of the week having a little vaycay.

We came back on Sat and went to our new ward on Sun got TJ ready for his first day of work!! So after a few days we took the kids to Chocolate World to enjoy a night out and to explore our new surrounds.

The moving truck with the Tahoe on back.

The only picture I took while we were at the grandparents house.

Our trip to Chocolate World! It was so much fun

TJ and Tanner at the beginning of the ride

He was so excited lol

Me and Kena,

So cute, he was totally mesmorised by it all

Kena was super super excited lol

The cute cows they had through out the ride.

After the ride and eating our free piece of chocolate which by the way was soooooooo good! we took them over to the kisses workshop. They got to be workers at the kisses factory for the day. They took a picture of them in their hats

gave them these little gear looking holders to hold their kisses and they got to push the green button to start the machine to get the kisses to fall in there holders.

After they got their kisses they turned around and shook up their kisses to make sure they were in there with love.

We had a blast and can't wait to take them back again. If anyone is heading this way let us know and we have the room for visitors.

Memorial Day

We had a good Memorial weekend we didn't do much, we did get some cleaning done but for the most part it was a normal weekend for us. TJ had to work so ya not much went on. I am so thankful for my Aunt and Uncle that were able to go up and visit my daddies grave site, I have been feeling really guilty that I live so far away had haven't been back since he passed almost 5 years ago now. So I love all the pictures I can get of his headstone!!
Here is my daddies headstone!!!

My dad is buried next to my grandparents and I'm glad that my Aunt sent me a picture of their headstone as it now has my grandmothers name added. Its so beautiful!

And just because I love and miss my Niece and Nephew here is a recent picture that my sis texted me!! They sure are not my little babies anymore they have grown so much since I saw them last at my brothers wedding back in 2007. Sorry about the sideways photo, just turn your head to see how cute he is.

YEAH!!!

I'm so excited to finally blog about this. We are officially (finally) moving to PA!! I could not be more excited to be closer to family and for our kids to get to know their other grandparents. We are looking at moving to the Lebanon or surrounding area of PA. I am excited to take my kids to Hershey, To see all the historical sites there in PA as well as going to DC. I can't wait!!! I'm sad to leave here as I have made so many great friends and have finally started to like living here well minus the heat and humidity. I will miss our Church friends and all the kids that I have gotten the opportunity to work with in Primary. Makena is going to miss all her friends from school, but she is such a likable child that she is going to make so many friends no matter where we are so she will be just fine. I'll post exactly where we end up once I know but for now I know that we are going to spend some time up in Watertown, NY at the in laws while TJ looks for us a place.

Track Meet

We had so much fun at Makena's track meet, the weather was great and didn't rain us out and all the kids had a blast! Makena did super in all the events and was just happy about getting a ribbon and didn't matter what place she finished. She ended up with a 4th place, 5th place, 1st place, and 3rd place. It was fun to see what she has been doing during P.E. and to finally see all the hard work she has put in to each thing. Here are a few pictures as well as a video of the scooter race that she took 1st place in.

Getting ready to do the long jump!

Easter

We had a fantastic Easter this year! The weather was great and the kids really enjoyed themselves. On Saturday we went up to Beavers Bend State Park for their annual Easter egg hunt and the kids were in heaven. They had over 6000 eggs out for the kids in 4 different age groups and had a few eggs with slips of paper in for prizes. They had also hidden 2 hard boiled eggs for the parents to search for after the kids were done. It was a blast and we really enjoyed running and collecting the eggs.
Makena waiting for them to finish announcements.
Tanner waiting

Tanner gathering up the eggs he could get to.

Makena searching for eggs

This is us searching for one of the 2 other eggs that they had hidden away from the children's area, We knew it was a long shot at finding that egg but we sure had fun walking and the kids loved searching for it.
After a while the kids were ready to go and play at the playground so TJ went off to continue searching and I stayed with the kids so they could play.

They also had a small petting zoo with a few bunnies, a goat and the cutiest little dog, and I can't remember what brand it was but it was one I have never heard of.

Later that night we got the eggs out and the kids had fun dying them and Tanner thought it would be fun to smash a few of them before we had the change to decorate them, oh well at least there were some that we got to decorate some and the kids had a blast.

Here are there Easter baskets, Makena got a new dolly that is dressed up as a ballerina and Tanner got a new monster truck, they both got bubbles an egg with a few packets of pop rocks and a chocolate bunny.

Just after waking up and running out to see what the Easter bunny brought them. They were both so excited!!

Dressed up for Church, It just worked out that both of their outfits matched, I didn't plan that at all but am glad that they match!!

My beautiful children all ready for church!!

Big news

Well for our house it is such a big accomplishment I figured I would share my joy with everyone!!! Tanner is officially weaned and potty trained!!! I know I know most people look at me crazy for nursing him so long but it was so right for us, I am glad to be done though. As for potty training we have worked on that for a while now and just this week he has finally figured it out. He has been doing so well at telling us when he has to go and really enjoys flushing his poop down. So March was a huge month of accomplishments for for Tanner. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!
