Snow!!!

I would have never guessed that in Southeast Oklahoma that I would ever see snow but sure enough it started to snow tonight. I am so happy as I am really missing the snow but i'm glad to be here with my family. I did take some pictures and i'll post them soon just so you all know i'm not crazy!!!

Christmas Tree

Well after much deliberation between TJ and I, He won and we put the tree up the day after thanksgiving. I wasn't ready for it yet and was hoping to make it tell at least the first of Dec but i lost the battle and we have our tree. But it sure has been nice seeing it and i feel it has brought me the christmas spirit a little early this year!!! For family home evening last night we put the decorations on and had agreat time, now all we lack is puttin up the lights. My mom even made a simmer pot last night so this morning when I woke up the house smelled so GOOD and i'm so ready for this holiday season much more then last year!!!!

Thanksgiving

We had a great thanksgiving, We had a family from our branch come over with there children and a friend of my mom's from AA. We all had a great dinner and good company. I know that I ate to much turkey and I am sure everyone else did.

As TJ was deboning the turkey my mom grabbed 2 thigh bones and put the kids up in their chairs and gave them each one and oh by you would have though it was gold!!! They both went to town and had a fun time eating them.

As for Kena all she wanted after that was a turkey bone. So for lunch the next day we gave her a turkey leg to eat at and she was so happy and really did a good job at getting the meat off the bone!!! (Don't look at her messy room as I hadn't cleaned it after Kena and our friends kids had played in there the day before)

Happy Holidays

So I had a really hard time choosing a song that I wanted on my blog so Its going to change quite often but will most likely be from the same group, Mannheim Steamroller!!!! I love them and have ever since I was a little child, (i have my mom to thank for this one) So for now its God Rest ye merry gentlemen, the rock version of this song.

Our new favorite movie!!!

We rented the move "CARS" and have watched it like 5 times and Makena is watching it again. If you havn't seen it yet I highly recommend that you do, Its super cute and Makena is just in love with it as am I.

Just for Remi!!

My nephew is totally in love with planes, So while i was on the way to the mail today I drove past the little airport we have here and this plane was sitting there, So i had to turn around and go get my camera so I could take some pictures of it for him. I hope you like them Remi!!!!

My super funny kids

Tanner is so funny when you put glasses on him. He has to stick out his tounge, he must thing thats how you keep them on. I jsut think its super cute!!!

Makena's new thing to do with her brother is to pick him up and try to carry him around. She does pretty well for a few steps.

Makena went outside one day and was trying to hide from me because she didn't want to come back in. This is where i found her hiding.

I love my kids so much!!! They are so funny with each other!!

Halloween pictures

We had so much fun this halloween as kena is finally old enough to really understand whats going on and Tanner just had fun. Towards the end Makena had had enough and was ready to go home and check out all her goodies!!! Over all we did have a great time and am looking forward to the rest of the Holiday seasons that are coming!!!

Music

Well after some help from some friends I figured out how to add music to my blog!!!! So it will change every so often!!. I'm just supprised that i actually figured it out and it works!!!

My funny kids

So Makena has been so funny lately. She will say some of the funniest things but the most funniest one that has stuck with me lately. I were doing something and I called her Kena stinky and she replies to me "I not kena stinky I kena babcock" Yep she has finally learned to say her full name well with the expection of her middle name but its at least a start. Her and my mom have some of the funniest conversations, My mom was telling Makena not to get in the puddles and that if she did the mud frogs would get her shoes and suck them off......So now if she see puddles she talkes about the mud frogs that are in there. We have a pond on our property and she started calling it the fishy puddle. Its seems like a matter of days she she has learned so much and is talking about so much. She has thought it to be fun to pick up her little brother and carry him around all though he doesn't find it as fun as she does.

Tanner is getting so big. He loves chasing his sister and taking her things that look like so much fun to play with. He is getting more steardy on his feet and has even taken a few small steps but nothing major yet. He can stand up for a few sec but then sets after he realizes what he is doing. Its just a matter of time now and he will take off and there will be no stoping him. Now if he could only master the stairs to the kitchen life would be bliss for him.

Makena's Big present

Makena got her big girl bed for her birthday and she wanted strawberry shortcake bedding to go with it so We bought her the bed and her Grandma and grandpa Babcock bought the bedding. She had so much fun opening all her presents.

Tanner was getting so tired and after I tryed to sit down and nurse him he was still every intentive as to what was going on and didn't want to nurse so Honey came to the rescrue and he fell asleep shortly after we were done puting Makena's bed together

Makena's Party!

Makena wanted Pizza for dinner so it was set. I made homemade pizza and it was so good!!!! I know most of you know I don't cook and so this has been such a great learning experience for me and I think I am doing so good at it!!!

Tanner was in no mood to let me feed him so I gave in and let him feed himself. He had so much fun.

We did make her cake again this year. It did come from a box but I still consider it homemade!!! Of all the things to choose from she chose Scooby-Doo

She got some new pants and shirts as well as new undies and socks!!! Just what she needed

Makena's 3!!!

Today is Makena's 3rd birthday!!! She is having such a good day and can't wait to have birthday cake and to blow out the candles. I"ll post some pictures of her with her presents at the end of the week as most won't be here till then.

So far so good

On one of my message boards there was a challange made to all those who blogg and so I thought I would take the time to actually blog instead of just adding pics of my cute kids. So I am taking this challange and am going to keep my blog up to date with pictures and whats going on day to day. Of course it might not be day to day as we all know how busy kids can be but at least once a week for sure!!!!

Thing have been pretty good so far with my mom and stepdad moving in. Makena is still really clinging to Mike and Tanner just loves all the attention just as long as mom is still in the room. TJ is now working nights and so he sleeps all day so its just like him working a normal day shift except i don't get to sleep with him. He really likes it and its just another step to move up the Tyson ladder. Makena is still doing great at being potty trained with only a few accidents here and there. She did it all by herself and didn't need to receive any prizes or treats of what not to keep going. She has just amazed me with it. Tanner is still growing like a weed and i'm sure will be walking any day. He will stand up and hold on to our step stool we have in the kitchen and with the hard wood floors it slids and he is able to keep up with it and walk with it. He is loving solid foods but is still really attatched to the breast with is fine with me till he things its fun to play and bite then its on the floor. As for me i'm doing ok, I"m feeling so much better since have my Gull bladder surgery knowing i don't have to experience that pain again.

Moving in

My mom and Step-dad have moved in with us for a while till they are able to get back on there feet. It has been fun watching Makena interact with them and she loves her "pabear" and Honey. Sorry its blurry I don't know what was wrong with the camera. But here are Makena, Honey and Pabear unpacking the car. She has been there shadow since they ahve gotten here and won't let me out of her site.
