Get your flag ready for 09/11/2007

*I received this email from a family member and I wanted to share it with the rest of you.*

Get your flag ready for 09/11/2007

Please join us in this FLY THE FLAG campaign and PLEASE forward this Email immediately to everyone in your address book asking them to also forward it. We have a little less than one week and counting to get the word out all across this great land and into every community in the United States of America.

THE PROGRAM:

On Monday, September 11th, 2007, an American flag should be displayed outside every home, apartment, office, and store in the United States. Every individual should make it their duty to display an American flag on this sixth anniversary of our country's worst tragedy. We do this honor of those who lost their lives on 9/11, their families, friends and loved ones who continue to endure the pain, and those who today are fighting at home and abroad to preserve our cherished freedoms.

In the days, weeks and months following 9/11, our country was bathed in American flags as citizens mourned the incredible losses and stood shoulder-to-shoulder against terrorism. Sadly, those flags have all but disappeared. Our patriotism pulled us through some tough times and it shouldn't take another attack to galvanize us in solidarity. Our American flag is the fabric of our country and together we can prevail over terrorism of all kinds

Action Plan:

So, here's what we need you to do ..

(1) Forward this email to everyone you know (at least 11 people). Please don't be the one to break this chain. Take a moment to think back to how you felt on 9/11 and let those sentiments guide you.

(2) Fly an American flag of any size on 9/11. Honestly, Americans should fly the flag year-round, but if you don't, then at least make it a priority on this day.

Thank you for your participation. God Bless You and God Bless America!

Thankful Thursday

I am so thankful for my children and the fact that they are healthy! I am so glad that they are both feeling good and not sick. I am so thankful for TJ for him letting me stay home with our children while he works so hard to provide for us. TJ is such a good father to his children and loves spending time with them even though he is tired from working all night. It is going to be a great weekend as TJ doesn't have to work and we will be spending the weekend with each other, doing odd jobs around the house and helping him get perpared for our friendly Friday tomorrow since the YM are in charge.

I hope you like

Well I figured it was time to give another update and I hope to be adding more things to my blog to make it more interesting and I hope that I can keep it up while doing the daily things in my home that need to be done. TJ is still enjoying scouts, school, and work, well maybe not so much work as they have been working 6-7 days a week for the last few weeks so its made for little family time and not much time for school which is very hard for him as he now has 2 classes English and ethics, and both are requiring quite a bit of time to complete the homework assignments and with scouts on top of all that he is super busy. Maybe he should just give up sleep HAHA!!! Makena, Tanner and myself are just trying to take itin stride with having less daddy time and trying to find more things to do to keep us entertained durning the day. We have found some great crafts at Walmart to put together for halloween so once they aredone i'll post a pic to show our fun!! Well i'm going to go and find some fun things to add to my blog!!!! Hope you all enjoy

PayPerPost

Yep I have jumped on to the payperpost blog ads bandwagon again!! I have heard so many great things about this and that many have earned quite about of money for not doing very much. So I thought to myself what the heck why not do something to help give me some play money and to do something that i do enjoy doing, that is learning about new places and then telling people about the great things that I have learned!!! PayPerPost can be very helpful to may families that may not have the spending money they wish to have, most opps pay anywhere between $5-$20 per post and after a month or two that adds up to quite a bit, and heck who would love some extra cash for not doing to much. I figured since I am already blogging about my family why not give out a little information on other stuff and who knows it might actually benefit someone else!! So if you are looking for some extra cash then join the payperpost team and the possibilities are endless.

Fun stuff!!

Well things sure have been busy this month and I can't believe that this month is almost over. TJ has a new calling in church!!! he is now the 2nd Counselor in the Young Mens as well as Scout Master!! He sure is going to be one busy man now with working nights, school, and now having to teach the young men and do scouts plus camp outs its going to keep him on his toes!! In other good news he currently as a 4.0 GPA and is getting ready to start English comp and Ethics. He is a little nervous about these 2 classes but I know that with hard work he will do just fine.

Makena is doing just great, we are hoping to get her in to the Head Start here but its might be a little hard as we are not indian or a low income family and with living on the reservation they have priority but I do know that they keep a few spots open for higher imcome childeren so once we get copys of a few things we will turn in our paperwork and go from there.

Tanner is starting to talk more and is really quite the dare devil. he loves to climb things and trust that you are going to catch him when he leaps off. He is such a momma's boy and has a hard time when I hold Makena, he things that I should be holding him and not her, silly boy.

What a busy month

Well i am still working on getting pictures up from our vacation to my brothers wedding. I would have them done except we moved and took our desktop computer apart to move and havn't gotten it set back up and that is where all the pictures are from the wedding and such, So as soon as TJ gets it up and running i will finish loading the pictuers and adding stuff and will post them. So no worries of me forgetting because I havn't we have just been busy with the move and now that we are settled hopefully we can get it up and running soon. Other then that not much has happened in the land of the Babcocks. Just getting things in place and trying to stay cool as it has finally heated up and stopped raining.
